We are beyond pleased to have Sistering as our new charity of choice.
Sistering is a multi-service agency for at-risk women and is driven by one simple truth: all women, regardless of circumstance, deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
We met with Executive Director Shelley Nichols and Fund Development Manager Wendy Bray July 9 to present them our first donation – proceeds from our Gear Shop.
We also learned more how Sistering is Changing lives, one woman at a time.
Sistering offers over 40 programs on everything from drop in services, newcomer assistance, harm reduction, health and wellness and social enterprise.
FCSP Toronto Fans through its fundraising from event raffles/auctions and gear sales proceeds will be supporting this remarkable organization.
No one imagines their life journey will include homelessness or living in poverty and isolation. But that’s the reality for the women who walk through Sistering’s door in need of safe shelter and support. We are proud to support them in this noble endeavour.
