New beginnings

It was a memorable day.

Not only did the Boys in Brown take three away points from FC Magdeburg – the winning goal from new defender Marvin Knoll – but FC St. Pauli Toronto Fans held their first-ever match viewing at their new home The Dock Ellis.

People came from near and far, from all walks of life to watch the 2-1 victory at the Little Portugal bar in Toronto.

In addition to our Toronto members, we were also joined by visitors from the Hamburg area.

Ingo and Sabine, on a trip to Ontario and Quebec, joined us, with Ingo sharing tales of his fascinating job as a beekeeper at the Hamburg airport.

We were also joined by LeToMaGIC , creator of the artzine Letters to Marina Ginesta Coloma. LMGC touches on politics, beer, zine libraries and football and LeToMaGIC was in Toronto to explore those cultures in The Six for the fourth issue. Can’t wait.

LeToMaGIC left us with some of his work. An Altona 93 supporter, he also left us some fantastic stickers.

Last but certainly not least, we held a raffle, giving away some sweet FCSP swag, and raised $200 for our new charity partner Newcomer Kitchen. Thank you to everyone who supported this amazing organization.

We look forward to many new firsts as we gather to support FC St. Pauli. Please join us at The Dock Ellis, 1280 Dundas Street West. Match viewings happen matchdays, 6p.m. EST on weekends and 7p.m. On weekdays.

Forza!
